In November 12, the brief specialist sloggi hosted - for the second time - the grand final of the worldwide “Show Me Your sloggi” 2008 contest. In the historic indoor swimming pool arena “Club Quartier Latin”, in Paris, France, the 45 finalists from 26 countries presented their most precious, well-rounded derrières in order to convince the eightmember jury, consisting of Adriana Karembeu, Paolo Nespoli, Stan Murmur, Lomig Guillo, Michelle Rice, Thomas Herreiner and last year's winners, Kristina Dimitrova and Andrei Andrei.

The jury made the decision about which man and which woman got the title of “World’s Most Beautiful Bottom” and also other very attractive prizes including a modelling contract for an international sloggi campaign, €15,000 award money, plus some exclusive insurance for the most precious part of their body.

Winners are Melanie Nunes Fronckowiak, 20, from Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, and Saiba Bombote, 27, from France. Candidates entered the competition by submitting their photos to www.sloggi.com, where 11,200 entries were received. More than 31 million votes were cast by the public.

The 2008 slogg winners are no strangers to the world of pageants: in 2007, Melanie was first runner-up in the Miss World Brazil competition and soccer player Saiba competed as Mister Champagne Ardennes in the Mister France pageant.
