The Miss and Mister Mauá 2008 pageant took place at the Associação Atlética Industrial Sport Club in December 12. For the first time, the pageant also selected the Miss Mauá Teen. The show was hosted by Daniel Barreto. There were 16 contestants: 06 for the teen competition, 04 for the male competition and 06 for the female competition.

The new Miss Mauá is Rosilene dos Santos Paraíso (Miss Jardim Rosina), who competed for the title for the third year in a row and, this time, was picked as the winner. Her runner-ups were Vanessa Barzan (Miss Jardim Zaira and the reigning Miss Cidade de São Paulo) and Thaliny Vecchi (Vila Emilio).

Judges (among them the outgoing Miss Mauá, Samantha Rubim; models Larissa Tamy, Natalia Moreno Ariza and Patrizia Guimarães; and journalist Perácio de Melo, editor of Grau10.net) chose Davi Maximino (Santa Rosa) as the new Mister Mauá. His runner-ups were Kleber Rodrigues (Feital) and Theo Pereira (Vila Assis).

Special guests included Raiza Pita (Belissima Brasil 2008) and Flavio Mazzucatto (Mister Model Metropolitano 2008 and former Mister Mauá).

The first Miss Mauá Teen is Alessandra Pereira da Silva (Jd. Campo Verde). Runner-ups were Isabele Cristina Nascimento (Jd. Pilar) and Alessandra Oliveira (Jd. Maria Eneida).

Special titles went to Jéssica Merch Farias (Miss Congeniality), Deysiani de Moraes (Miss Elegance) and Letícia Flor do Nascimento (Miss Charm).
