On February 14, beautiful Miss Umuarama Cassia Penido will compete for the title of Miss Paraná 2009 in Maringá. The state pageant will select the delegate from Paraná to the Miss Brazil 2009 pageant.

This 21-year old brunette, who stands 1m76cm height, with measurements 91-62-91 (cm), will try to become the fourth girl from Umuarama to win the Miss Paraná pageant (the reigning queen Bronie Alteiro and her predecessor Vivian Noronha represented that city in the state pageant, and late Elaine Lopes also won the title in 2003).
