Aishwarya Rai stars in "The Pink Panther 2"
Winner of the Miss World 1994 title, Indian actress Aishwarya Rai will star opposite actor Steve Martin in The Pink Panther sequel, to hit theaters around the world in February 06.
Aishwarya will play detective Sonia in a cast that includes, among others, actors Andy Garcia, John Cleese and Alfred Molina.

Miss Barcelona spent holidays in Brazil
The reigning Miss Barcelona and Miss Spain 2008 semi-finalist Ana Carolina Benítez Bernardo spent the holidays season with family in her native Paraná, in Brazil.
In Barcelona, where she studies marketing and works as an actress, Ana Carolina already got roles in some TV series and even posed topless for the Interviú magazine.

John Abraham is Asia's sexiest man
Indian actor and Manhunt International 1999 1st. runner-up John Abraham has been adjudged 2008's sexiest Asian in the world, in a poll conducted by a British Asian weekly, Eastern Eye.
"John Abraham made up for a quiet year with a sensational look in Dostana, with one of the greatest physiques ever seen on big screen. His body helped to make the film a hit with Asian women," said Hamant Verma, editor of Eastern Eye.
The panel of judges included Brianna Ragel, editor of Asian Woman magazine, Che Kurrien, editor of GQ India and Farhad Dadybujor, the former editor of FHM India.
John was also the only Indian to feature in the ‘25 Sexiest Men’ list compiled by E! News! In the special episode of the ‘Sexiest Men’ series, John has even made it to the Top 10 along with soccer star David Beckham, actor Johnny Depp and Irish actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers.

New book brings never published pics of Sophia Loren
One of the most beautiful women of all times, Italian actress Sophia Loren is the star of the new book by French author Yann-Brice Dherbier, who already published books with Elizabeth Taylor and Paul Newman's rare pics.
The "Sophia Loren - A life in pictures" book brings 200 never published photos of the two-time Academy Award winner diva, who started her career in entertainment as a contestant in the Miss Italy pageant in the 1950s.

Marcus Vehma will represent Germany
in Mister World 2009
27-year old Marcus Vehma, from Berlin, won the Mister Deutschland 2009 pageant last December 06th.
He will compete in Mister World 2009.
Marcus stands 191 cm and is a student of business administration. Runner-ups were Peer Ohnesorge and Julian Marenbach.

Miss Cuban American will compete in Miss Iberoamerica
In February, the winner of the Miss Cuban American 2009 title, blond Vanessa Gonzalez, 21, a student in the University of Miami, Florida, will travel to Ecuador, where she will compete with delegates from Portugal, Spain, Latin America and Caribbean for the title of Miss Iberoamerica.
